ET Studio Productions Policies and Guidelines

 

ET Studio Productions is committed to creating a positive and inspiring environment for its artists, parents, students, team members, and employees.  For this reason, it is important that all understand and abide by the company policies and guidelines as outlined below. 


 

REGISTRATION:

 

ET Studio Productions is an audition based company. Acceptance into our program is based upon skill level and preparedness. Once a registration form is submitted, applicants will be reviewed and approved new students will be placed and able to register.

 

LESSONS:

 

  • All first time lessons require a non-refundable deposit to secure that date.

  • After the first lesson, students are encouraged to book lessons on their own with their Acuity account login, which will be created upon booking their first lesson. **Please advise management if you have any issues with this. 

  • Texts and emails will be sent out as a reminder, two days in advance.

  • There is no commitment when booking lessons with us. You may pay as you go, book as you please. However, please keep in mind that consistency and commitment are the keys to developing and mastering any pursuit. Payment is due at the time of booking.

PACKAGED LESSONS:

 

  • We will not book / begin mid-month packages. . 

  • If a lesson is missed in the package without 24 hour notice, that lesson is considered forfeited.

  • If you choose to reschedule a lesson in the package, please DO NOT CANCEL the lesson in acuity. There is a difference between cancelling and rescheduling. Please contact management for assistance.

PAY-AS-YOU-GO MISSED LESSONS:

 

  • If a student must miss a lesson, you may go into your acuity account and cancel/reschedule on your own more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. 

  • If a lesson must be cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, please notify management by text or call.  **only sickness or emergencies will be permitted. (This is based on the honesty policy)**

  • There are NO refunds for unused or cancelled lessons.

  •  No call or no show lessons will not be made up and the cost of the lesson will be forfeited.

SICKNESS:

 

Students who think they are suffering from colds or other infectious illnesses shall not attend the studio. The same goes for all vocal coaches, teachers, and team members. A virtual Lesson (via Zoom/Skype/Facetime/Google Hangout) is the preferred solution to this situation. If a lesson is missed due to illness or emergency, that lesson may be rescheduled to the next available date. 

 

IMPORTANT: IF A STUDENT IS SICK, PLEASE DO NOT COME IN. (SEE BELOW FOR MAKEUP LESSON POLICY) 

 

MAKE UP LESSONS:

 

Any lessons cancelled at least 24 hours ahead of the scheduled lesson, OR if sickness or emergency occurs, may receive a make-up lesson at a time convenient to both the teacher and the student.  Make-up options are strictly based on availability, so the more advanced notice given, the more options there are to reschedule. Typically, make-up lessons will take place at an alternate time/day within the week, or can be given virtually. All makeup lessons are to be booked with office management. Cancelled make-up lessons will not be made up. 

 

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS:

 

ET Studio Productions does not follow the public or private school weather open/close schedules.  In the event of extreme weather, the decision regarding lesson cancellations will be made no later than 12 noon of lesson day.   Notification will be called, emailed, and/or texted to students, as well as posted on corresponding socials.

 

IF YOUR TEACHER CANCELS:

 

In most cases, when your teacher cannot be here, we will find a suitable substitute teacher and the lesson will continue as regularly scheduled upon notifying the student. If your teacher cancels a lesson, and we are unable to find a substitute teacher, we will find a make-up date.  


 

HOLIDAY BREAKS:

 

We will be CLOSED on all major Holidays including New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween (up to teachers discretion), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve. Please advise your teacher and/or office management as soon as you know you will have to miss a lesson due to any religious obligations & holidays, so we can accommodate accordingly. 

 

ATTENDANCE:

 

Students who arrive late cannot be guaranteed a full lesson, so please try and be on time. Let your teacher or management know if you are running late. 


 

EMERGENCY EXIT PLAN:

 

Emergency evacuation and exits are located down the hall towards the front of the building, and also at the entrance.  There are fire extinguishers and safety ramps on property. Bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. 


PAYMENTS:

 

We accept Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex, & PayPal 

 

Students may opt for autopay wherein a credit card can be placed on file and will be charged on the day of their lesson or before the start of their package.  It will also be used to charge last minute cancellation fees on a student's account. In the case of non-payment, company has the option to suspend lessons until the account is brought current.


Should you choose to take a break, unused lessons can be banked for you for a period of 3 months.  Unused lessons after that time will be considered forfeited.
